WE HONOR THE GAME. Munster Little League, founded in 1952 and officially chartered as a Little League organization in 1972, provides a supervised youth baseball program for boys and girls ages 4 through 12 under the rules and regulations of Little League® International. Our hope is for all our directors, officers, members and volunteers to bear in mind that attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is of secondary concern to the objective of our league. We strive to provide a safe and fun combination of both recreational and competitive players. The objective of Munster Little League is to promote, develop, supervise and voluntarily assist youth by teaching sportsmanship, self-esteem and advancing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty.
Munster Little League is committee to teaching the principles of the Little League pledge:
I trust in God.
I love my country and will respect its laws.
I will play fair and strive to win.
But win or lose I will always do my best.
Munster Little League is located in Northwest Indiana and a part of Lake County, Indiana. We are a member of District # 1 of Little League, Inc, serving children who live or attend school in the Town of Munster for over 65 years. A field renovation project was implemented and completed in the spring of 2014. We are proud of our community and the facilities they have provided our children.
WE HONOR THE GAME.
