T-Ball – Ages 4-6: Intro to Little League for the players new to baseball, providing an instructional T-ball experience that is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals as the key to growing a child’s love for the game. There is no player evaluation, as players are drafted by managers typically assembling teams of friends and blind picks. This is a non-competitive league- no scores or standings are kept, all players bat every inning- with the last player hitting a “home-run”.
Prep- Ages 5-7: Prep is an instructional division for kids moving up from T-Ball. There are no player evaluations for Prep- players are drafted on to a team by the Prep managers. This division is coach pitch- no tee is used during games. This is a non-competitive league- no scores or overall standings are kept. The focus is to continue learning the fundamentals of each position and have fun!
C-League – Ages 6-8: C- League begins the introduction to competitive Little League play- scores and standings are kept in this league. All players will take part in evaluations and be drafted on to a team by the C-League managers. This division is a combination of kid pitch and coach pitch. All teams will play in an end of the season tournament. In this league, the coaches will focus on the fundamentals of the game and help to further develop an understanding of each position at an elevated level.
Minors – Ages 8-10: Minors is the intermediate level of play. Most players at the Minors level are ages 9-10. All players will take part in evaluations and be drafted on to a team by the Minors managers. This level is strictly kid pitch and introduces new elements and rules, such as stealing, bunting, and the infield fly rule. All teams will play in an end of the season tournament. In this league, coaches focus on developing players at more specific positions as well as developing baserunning skills.
Majors – Ages 10-12: The Majors division is the highest level of Little League play. Most players at this level are 11-12 years old. All players will take part in evaluations and be drafted on to a team by the Majors managers. This level focuses on developing specific positional skills learned at the Minors level. It also introduces new elements, including the dropped third strike rule. All teams will play in an end of the season tournament.
